Hello there! This is Octavio 🙌🏽

I'm a Data Science consultant based in Spain. I'm passionate about the business world, technology, and the resulting combination of these two fields. That is why I am interested in providing value to companies through Data Science and Big Data tools.

I come from a non-tech background. I got a bachelor's degree in Economics (BA) in Argentina, and then I was working in Banking and Agriculture for four years. After a while of pursuing my passion, I found information in the post "data science the sexiest job of 21st century" about the world of Data Science and the impact that it has on business. It was so much interesting for me that I decided to switch my career at that moment. This was the reason why I went back to school to pursue a Master's Degree in Data Science for Finance in the University of CUNEF (Madrid).

Currently, I'm working as Head of Data Analytics in Road to Data Consulting where I'm in charge of providing value through analytics solutions to multiple customers from different industries like retail, government organizations, etc.

In my free time, I like watching rugby and learning new topics related to algorithmic trading, finance, programming, and data science.
